IKEA apprentices visit Meyle+Müller

We were very happy to welcome a group of IKEA apprentices from Sindelfingen on June 26, 2010. The topic was: "How does Meyle+Müller use the worldwide multichannel production portal to produce for IKEA?".

After a warm welcome by our authorized agent and SALES Director Jürgen Mühlfeit, the apprentices jumped right into the advertising media production world. Johannes Haas and Oliver Baum, the project managers in charge of IKEA production at M+M, spoke of the collaboration with the Swedish furniture-maker and the challenges the project entails.

The day began with a tour of the premises, then the theoretical part followed by the practical segment of the visit. Of course, the IKEA apprentices had the opportunity to pay a visit to the production group in charge of all IKEA projects at M+M.

Michael Farkas made their visit to M+M one they will most likely not soon forget. The technical manager of IKEA (Sweden) was also at M+M that very same day and spoke to the IKEA apprentices about his experiences and adventures in Sweden. The day was very exciting and truly turned out to be a complete success
