The Digital Revolution – An event organized by PRESSECLUB NORDSCHWARZWALD at Meyle+Müller!

More than 30 top-notch participants came to an event held by the PRESSECLUB NORDSCHWARZWALD on 13 October  - and we had the opportunity to act as host and participant. The key topic was interesting as well as current: "Print in the age of new media".
Editor Gerd Lache, Chairman of the Presseclub Nordschwarzwald skillfully introduced the topic with his own video clips and then gave the floor over to Meyle+Müller CEO Eugen Müller. Mr. Müller briefly introduced his company and spoke of the change the enterprise encountered from the move as a once solely print-oriented pre-press company to an IT-based media specialist for all output channels.  M+M authorized agent and head of production, Frank Schulze, gave his account of the recent book fair, at which Meyle+Müller participated as exhibitor, focusing on the exciting development of e-books.
The newspaper Pforzheimer Zeitung had a very special contribution to make as well. Their senior publisher Thomas Satinsky and PZ senior editor Magnus Schlecht showed how the renowned regional newspaper deals new media and how they optimally positioned themselves on the Internet with PZ-News.
A lively discussion clearly showed how explosive and fascinating the media world has become, and which changes the future has yet to reveal.
The fact that the very last guests continued their discussions till midnight clearly demonstrates the appeal of the event.  A warm thank you to Gerd Lache:  It was an honor for us to host the PRESSECLUB NORDSCHWARZWALD.
